How to change your email address for HPAA

The HPAA uses the Yahoo Groups service. Each Yahoo group (i.e. each HPAA forum or list) has a separate subscription list.
The measures that Yahoo takes to prevent abuse of their system make it very difficult to change your email address unless you have a YahooID account. It is easier for all concerned to have the HPAA change your address for "HP Alumni News" and any HPAA discussion forums and lists that you have subscribed to.
To change your email address for the HPAA, please send us a short email. This ensures that we have your correct email address. Please send your request from your new email account. We use your email address, not your name, to identify you. (With more than 19,000 members, we have many duplicate names.) You need to send your request in plain text – otherwise, your application will not reach us:

You should also update the address on your LinkedIn account Job leads, requests to connect, and other communications from LinkedIn go to the primary email address on your LinkedIn account. LinkedIn lets you set up "secondary email addresses" on your account to ensure that you receive requests to connect – and other communications – from people who know you by your various work and personal email addresses. LinkedIn never exposes your email address to other members without your permission.
